riha use carefully selected raw fruits for producing their juices.

Sun-drenched regions like Brazil and Argentina in South America, and the countries of Central America are important citrus and tropical fruit growing regions. The company’s constant quest to improve quality means it places great emphasis on growing fruit and vegetables in carefully controlled environments. Company-owned apple orchards in Dodow, the vast fruit growing region of Mecklenburg, and its own citrus plantations in Costa Rica provide the best conditions for the quality standards we want.

And what we learn about quality is passed on to global suppliers – to ensure the same excellent quality is available to us all over the world. High quality standards should not fall victim to longer shipping routes. Which is why riha mostly imports fruit juice or fruit juice concentrate rather than fruit. Juice is extracted from only the best fruit and concentrated before it leaves the country of origin. With its enormous demand for juices and concentrates, riha is one of the most import customers for all supplier countries and provides huge amounts of jobs worldwide. riha, one of the leading companies in the sector, annually processes some 40,000 tonnes of orange juice concentrate, 45,000 tonnes of apple juice concentrate, 15 million litres of grape juice and 70 million litres of unfiltered apple juice.
